As our longest-running project, Op Santa (as it's affectionately known) has touched the lives of thousands of children yearly since 1934. Funds are raised, toy drives are initiated, letters to Santa are collected and read, and on Christmas Eve we send Santa and Mrs. Claus to the home of each local child who has written a letter to Santa. This is our largest community project, requiring over a hundred volunteers and an extensive budget. This committee typically begins its planning in August. |
