Pasadena Jaycees

The Pasadena Jaycees is the premier young (ages 21-40) professional leadership organization in the Pasadena and surrounding communities. We are involved with a variety of community, social and networking projects.

Why Membership?

1. The Discounts: Free Magazines, Car Rental Discounts, Hotel Discounts, Gourmet Food Discounts, and more. See http://www.usjaycees.org/benefits.htm for more information.

2. Rose Bowl Tickets: A limited number of Rose Bowl Tickets are available to members at face value.

3. Parties: Pasadena Jaycee Members enjoy discounted tickets at Jaycees Parties.

4. Meetings, Conferences, and Expeditions: When you join the Pasadena Jaycees, you are also becoming part of the California State Jaycees, the United States Jaycees, and Jaycees International. All Jaycee members are invited to State, U.S., and World conferences where civic minded young leaders celebrate their successes.

5. The Communiqué: Subscription to The Communiqué, Pasadena Jaycees monthly newsletter. Each month, Pasadena Jaycee members have the opportunity to read the latest news about the projects, and upcoming activities.

6. Professional Development: Build project management skills, learn to budget, practice marketing, lead meetings. Plus, opportunities to join toastmasters, listen to guest speakers, learn parliamentary procedures, serve on a board of directors, and more. Ask any of our past presidents what it has meant to them to be a member of our chapter

7. Networking Opportunities: Business, Social, and Community Networking opportunities are endless.

8. Expand Social Horizon: The majority of members either work or live in Pasadena and surrounding areas. This allows our membership to build a strong network of local friends. On-going activities are set up for our members such as: a monthly hiking club, a unique monthly activity, a beginning golf group that meets during nice weather, and a cultural group that attends interesting exhibits throughout L.A.

9. Community Service: Work as a team on youth programs, elderly programs, holiday projects, environmental projects, community fundraising, and international involvement.

10. HAVE FUN!: We like to have fun with everything we do. It’s pretty simple: We’re young, We’re fun, and we get things done!

If you are interested in helping your community while learning Leadership skills and having a great time, please join our organization in order to experience all of this and more.
